Tue, February 17, 2009 - 2:03 PMall this has reminded me what i did one day with my singing bowl
so i tried again today
when the bowl sings with a small amount of water in it
this standing fractal pattern of waves begins to appear at the water's edge
and begins to migrate towards the center
i think if i could keep the bowl still enough it would propagate across the entire surface
it's quite beautiful
